Dr. Sheila Naik
Upon graduating with numerous awards and honors from the University of Oklahoma dental school, Dr. Naik was selected to participate in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program.
After years of dealing with the Oklahoma winters, Dr. Naik was enticed by the southwestern charm and weather of Phoenix. After practicing as an associate dentist in another office for eight years, she started her own private practice which emulates her caring personality and gentle clinical approach.

Tanya, Dental Hygienist
Tanya has been working at Desert Sky Dentistry almost as long as Dr. Naik☺. Shortly after graduating from the Rio Salado College Dental Hygiene program in 2004, Tanya joined the Desert Sky Dentistry team. Tanya’s initial foray into the dental “world” was in 2000 as a dental assistant in an oral surgery office. However, Tanya’s dedication to healthcare dates back much further, having been an internal medicine doctor prior to moving to the United States. This unique background enables her to provide an individualized treatment approach, which also emphasizes oral healthcare education and adoption of the most recent dental technology.
Outside the office, Tanya likes to garden, cook, watch movies, yoga, and travel with her husband, Andy.
Tanya, Dental Hygienist
Tanya has been working at Desert Sky Dentistry almost as long as Dr. Naik☺. Danielle, Dental Hygienist
Danielle earned her degree from Indiana University in 2007 and, after spending her early years in the Midwest, has been a valued member of the Phoenix community for over a decade. For seven years, she specialized in periodontics, and her focus has always been on providing thorough and comfortable care to her patients.
Outside of her dedication to our patients, Danielle is also a Pilates instructor. On a personal note, she is a mother to two wonderful boys who bring a lot of joy to her life.
Jhansi, Dental Hygienist
Our lovely hygienist Jhansi was born and brought up in the southern part of India. She graduated with a Bachelors in Dentistry (B.D.S) in 2014 and was awarded the IDA-Colgate Scholarship (Indian Dental Association) in 2011 during her second year of graduation, as a reward for securing 2nd in her class. Jhansi then worked for two years as a Jr. dentist in a clinical office in India, before getting married in 2016 and moving to Phoenix, Arizona. Once here, she graduated from Rio Salado Dental Hygiene school in 2022, and has participated in several dental and non-dental volunteering experiences in the US over the last few years. She loves that in the hygiene field, she has an ability to directly impact people’s oral hygiene with immediate results- which gives her immense satisfaction. She is looking forward to achieving her DDS (Doctorate in Dental Science) to become a practicing dentist in the U.S. someday!
Jhansi, Dental Hygienist

Edith, Clinical Assistant
Edith was born in Mexico and raised in Dallas, Texas. With over six years of experience in the dental field, she has been a part of the Desert Sky Dentistry team since February 2022.
Edith is passionate about helping patients achieve life-changing transformations through the confidence of a beautiful smile. Outside of work, she cherishes time with her son Milan, and family.
She is also a devoted dog owner to a GoldenDoodle and a Mini Poodle, and enjoys taking them on walks and exploring the outdoors.
Marnie, Clinical Assistant
Born in Mesa and raised in Phoenix’s Moon Valley area, Marnie is a proud third-generation Arizona native. Outside of work, she is devoted to family life. Together with her spouse, she is raising a daughter and an adopted daughter who bring endless joy and entertainment. They enjoy traveling, hiking Arizona’s beautiful trails, and caring for their two beloved dogs — a true animal-loving household
Marnie, Clinical Assistant

Jess, Hygiene Coordinator
It is Jess’s mission to make a positive impact on each patient’s visit. Originally from the Gila River Reservation, she was born and raised in Arizona and has been working in the dental field for over eight years.
Outside of the office, she loves spending time outdoors—whether she’s hiking the Superstition Mountains, off-roading, or paddle boarding. Family is incredibly important to her; she has three daughters and a son, and she cherishes being a nanny to her four nieces and two nephews, all under the age of seven.
he is passionate about working closely with patients to ensure they have the best experience possible during their visit. Her favorite time of year is football season, and although she’s an Arizona native, she proudly cheers for the Dallas Cowboys—a tradition she shares in memory of her father, who was a devoted fan.
Gabby, Clinical Assistant and Treatment Coordinator
Gabby was born in Arizona and was raised in Sonora Mexico. She returned to Arizona when she was 13 years old. She has been in the dental field for over 13 years. More than half of that time was served in the back office. She is also our very own in-house whitening specialist. Gabby loves helping patients improve their smile as well as maintain their overall oral health, and has recently begun helping us out in the front with treatment planning and insurance!.
Gabby is married with 3 children Lui 13, Delylah 9, and Sarah 6. In her spare time she enjoys going to Church, spending time with her family, and visiting her family in Mexico.
